When’s Valheim Coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S?

If you pay quite a bit of attention to game news, it’s going to be hard not to hear about it. Valheim at this point. The new survival game was launched in early February and set the computer world on fire. However, if you are someone who mainly plays consoles, you can ask yourself when Valheim may go to your platform of choice. Unfortunately, it does not look like you would expect a release anytime soon.

In a statement issued by GameSpot, developer Iron Gate AB said there are currently no plans to bring Valheim on consoles. That said, the studio left the door just a little bit open by saying that “everything is an option at this point.” While this may happen in the future, Iron Gate does not seem to want to make console ports Valheim in the immediate future.

After all, it’s not as bad as it may seem. Many games that started out as computer-exclusive seem to be coming to consoles one day. And although we can not definitively say that the same thing will happen Valheim, history tells us that the chances are good that it will happen one day.

In the meantime, Iron Gate is probably much busier to just try to make Valheim works well for the players who already have it. The title for early access has already sold millions of copies on a computer, which means that Iron Gate definitely has a much larger player base at its disposal than it would initially have expected. As the company brings the game ever closer to the 1.0 iteration, their attitude towards console ports may start to change.

For now, Valheim in its current form, it is continued on a routine basis. In fact, one of the latest updates to the game has made some bosses even a little harder.
