It’s been a tough week for CD Project Red after their systems were hacked and the source code for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 was stolen and allegedly sold.
But we’re still looking forward to the 1.2 update, and CD Project Red will no doubt look to the soldier and not let this incident deter them from their plans.
When will the 1.2 update come out then?
When will the Cyberpunk 1.2 update appear?
The 1.1 update was released in January 2021, which fixed many of the issues that occur in the game.
But Cyberpunk 2077 is far from being a polished game, and CDPR will want to iron out a few more twists in this next 1.2 update.
According to their roadmap, updates 1.1 and 1.2 would appear in early 2021.
The roadmap does not give an exact date, but both points on the roadmap are close together, leading us to believe that the 1.2 update will be available at some point at the end of February, so hopefully within the next few weeks.
CD Project Red has not announced whether this recent burglary incident will delay their plans, but there is no indication that it will happen.

Cyberpunk 2077 is not yet missing from the PlayStation Store, after it was removed because the console versions were extremely broken at launch.
There are rumors that the 1.2 update will fix enough issues to bring Sony the game back to the PlayStation Store, which will hopefully restore confidence in the game and CD Project Red as a whole.
