Answer: The answer to your question is that according to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Phase 1B will begin by February 1st. The department just announced its recommendations to the public on Tuesday.
The groups in Phase 1B include people over the age of 75, first responders, staff and inmates of correctional facilities, state legislators, health inspectors, teachers and more.
Local public health agencies then make decisions about who to vaccinate in the groups, based on disease trends, risk of exposure and fair health.
