Samsung’s next Unpacked event kicks off on January 14 at 10:00 ET, and thanks to abundant leaks, we have a good idea of what to expect from the big day.
Samsung is widely expected to announce its next range of flagship phones, which will likely be called the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. There are rumors that the S21 Ultra has leading specs, cameras, and, primarily for an S-model Galaxy phone, support for Samsung’s S Pen stylus. The S21 and S21 Plus are expected to have similar specifications, but differ in size.
A new set of true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro, and a counterfeit article cutter, the Galaxy SmartTag, also look like a lock. Rumors about both products recently appeared on the internet and each one appeared in a leaked pre-order ad for the S21 Ultra. And of course, Samsung can surprise us with things we do not yet know.

Let’s talk about the Ultra flagship first. The big new feature for the S21 Ultra is support for the S Pen stylus, as confirmed by Federal Communications Commission documentation. However, according to the stylus, it is an optional accessory, and according to the phone, it does not have a dedicated slot to store it, unlike the company’s Note series. WinFuture You have posted photos of an optional case with which you can store the S Pen, which can be a useful accessory to pick up so as not to lose the stylus. WinFuture also reports that the S Pen will cost just under € 40, which is just under $ 49.
In terms of cameras, the Ultra will apparently have four rear cameras, including 3X and 10X telephoto cameras, according to WinFuture. Both telephoto cameras are also expected to have optical image stabilization and a 10 megapixel resolution. The phone may also have Samsung’s 100X “Space Zoom” feature first introduced in the Galaxy S20 Android Police.
Allegedly, the other two rear cameras are a 108-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-large camera, and the selfie camera can be 40 megapixels. The phone may also have laser-assisted autofocus, something that was included with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra last year.
You can take a closer look at the rumored camera setup for the Ultra in this leaked marketing image of the Evan Blass leak:

The Ultra is also expected to display a 6.8-inch WQHD + (3200 x 1440) resolution, according to WinFuture. It is also expected to support an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz leaker Ice Universe says the S21 Ultra might be able to work with the full WQHD + resolution at the 120Hz refresh rate, something the S20 Ultra could not do.
The S21 Ultra also supports 5G networks, is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, has a 5,000 mAh battery and has 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB storage.

Samsung also plans to announce the Samsung S21 and S21 Plus, which will not have as powerful specs as the Ultra.

The two phones are expected to have a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-large camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, reports WinFuture. Both phones will reportedly have a 10 megapixel selfie camera.

Like the Ultra, both S21 and S21 Plus are expected to support 5G networks and be IP68 certified. They are also expected to offer 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. And depending on which model you buy, they will have different battery sizes: according to the smaller S21, there is a 4000 mAh battery, while the S21 Plus is expected to have a 4800 mAh battery.

The S21 series may not have a power charger in the box
According to Samsung, Samsung’s latest phones can give an indication by not including a charger in the box WinFuturereports on the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. And the company recently removed ads mocking Apple for not including a charger with the iPhone 12 series, and gave rumors that Samsung is going to take a similar step.

The new phones can use Samsung’s One UI 3.1
Samsung’s S21 series could use One UI 3.1, and a video from YouTuber Jimmy is Promo reveals some of the features that may come in the new update.

The design on the photos also matches an image of the SmartTag in the leaked ad advance bonuses for the S21 Ultra.
