What cameras will we see in 2021?

In terms of new cameras, 2021 has already started with a bang, with the release of Fujifilm GFX 100S dropping medium-format capabilities at high levels to unprecedented price levels, and the Sony a1 pushing mirror-free full frame into exciting new kingdoms. With another 11 months in the year and still a lot of exciting equipment allegedly on the way, what can we expect? This amazing video discusses what we can see.

This interesting video comes from Dan Watson to you, and discusses the kind of cameras we can probably see that will be announced or released this year. The GFX 100S and Sony a1 have undoubtedly impressed many of us, but there are many more to come, such as the Canon R1, the mirror-free equivalent of the flagship 1D. Since the EOS R5 already shows such impressive capabilities, I am very excited to see what the R1 has to offer. It is also expected that the a7 IV, the much anticipated successor to the popular a7 III, of which I was a big fan when I reviewed it in 2018. There seems to be a lot to look forward to; watch the video above for Watson’s full thoughts.
