We may get three new Motorola watches this year

The latest Moto 360 watch, which was only launched at the end of 2019, was not manufactured by Motorola. I think we made that clear at the time, but for those who missed the launch, a company called eBuyNow is the company that made it under a licensing agreement with Motorola. After seeing what we have to assume is some success, the company plans for more Moto brand watches in the coming months.

In last week’s earnings report for CE Brands, which includes eBuyNow, the company drew up a roadmap for product release in 2021. The roadmap is below and shows that a “Moto G Smartwatch” will arrive in June, followed by “Moto Watch & One” devices, which are apparently two additional watches.

The Moto G Smartwatch may indicate an affordable offering, simply because the Moto G Series is Motorola’s mid-range devices. If so, you should be aware that eBuyNow will include the antique trash from a Qualcomm portable chipset known as the Snapdragon Wear 3100. If so, never consider this watch. Here’s the hope that we’ll see an adoption of Snapdragon Wear 4100 at some point in our lives.

As for the Moto Watch and Moto One wearables, these could be additional Wear OS watches, or they might fit into the category of smart fitness watches that have become very popular in recent years. I’m talking about the watches from Amazfit or Huawei, where they use personal fitness-focused software instead of Wear OS, offering the battery life of more than a week and limited intelligence, but tracking all the health statistics.

We will try to stay open-minded here. Let’s go June!
