Wayne’s World stars storm out over Cardi B and her ‘shameless celebrity cameo’ in Uber Eats Super Bowl ad

Mike Myers and Dana Carvey step into memory as they step back into the shoes of their iconic Wayne’s World characters in a new Super Bowl ad.

In a ‘shameless celebrity como’, Cardi B injects her infectious personality with Wayne and Garth, as they want to encourage viewers to eat locally in support of restaurants struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The former Saturday Night Live stars now start over their reunion as they stream over the Bodak Yellow rapper.

It is, according to the famous SNL sketch and two feature films, the one-minute ad opens with the theme song and is followed by the duo’s instruction to eat local.

“As a local access program, we want everyone to support local restaurants, but we’ll never manipulate you like all these ads do,” they announce.

The ad then goes on to influence the ‘eat local’ manipulation angle by including windblown glossy photos and the hosts holding mini-me babies, declaring that they ‘should never shamelessly rely on a celebrity como’ , as Cardi makes her appearance.

“Yeah eat local,” she says in a typical Cardi attitude and intonation, before the trio nods at the hugely popular TikTok outfit jumps and wardrobes under each other.

Wayne and Garth are finally dressed in Cardi’s forest green feather robe, and she reappears in Myers’ outfit before trying a few more times.
