While appearing on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart,” Waters, she saw the trial as an opportunity for members of Congress to learn more about Fauci’s ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“While he was there, and he had so much credibility, he was bullied, and there was an attempt to shut him down by Congressman Jordan,” she added. “We only have a limited time. We only have five minutes each, and he does not respect the chair. He does not respect the other members. He talks about time.”

During the trial, Jordan and Fauci both raised their voices when Ohio Representative accused Fauci of promoting policies that “trampled” on personal freedoms. Fauci, in turn, maintained that his recommendations had to do with public health, not with personal freedom.

When Jordan’s time expired, he kept talking, which led Waters to tell him: “You must respect the chair and close your mouth.”

“I was simply trying to intervene in the way of telling him what to say,” Waters told Capehart. “I know I’m different from a lot of politicians, and I know, I use the opportunity to say what I think should be said at a particular time, and that’s what I did.”

Fauci said on Sunday that comments and accusations such as those of Jordan were “quite frustrating” while appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union”.

“I do not enjoy such confrontations, but I mean, it was very, very clear that he was talking about the freedoms that are restricted,” Fauci told the host. Dana BashArkansas Gov. This is not a matter of civil liberties. ‘
