A French artist screamed when he noticed a shark swimming under him in the Maldives, according to a video by Jam Press shared by the New York Post on Friday.
People shouted at 30-year-old artist Thibault Garcia as the shark swam closer to him, the video showed. Garcia kept waving in the water despite the screams and looked in the shark’s direction. (RELATED: Surfer attacked by shark in Australia manages to swim to beach, walks 1000 feet for help)
Garcia screamed when he realized the shark was swimming beneath him and was going to climb out of the water while the shark kept swimming, the video showed. Garcia was on vacation when the shark encounter took place.
