Watch The Rock Sing Auld Lang Syne in Honor of the New Year

Happy New Year! 2020 is behind us, which means that this week saw a lot of fun posts from celebrities celebrating the new year. One such star is Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock. Johnson has done a lot of jobs this holiday season, from donating a Ford F-150 to a longtime WWE employee to singing cheerful songs like ‘Dwanta’. It turns out that Christmas was not the last time Johnson decided to sing for the holidays. The actor also went to Instagram to sing the New Year’s Eve classic, “Auld Lang Syne”, in honor of 2021.

“BRING TO 2021 🍾 Pssst hey 2020 … f * ck off,” Johnson wrote in the caption. “But THANK YOU 2020 for the invaluable lessons we will take with us for the rest of our lives. To be GRATEFUL. TO BE PRESENT. To be the hardest workers in the room. To be the smartest workers in the room so that our visions can be carried out and our goals can be achieved.We are not always going to be the best we do – but we will ALWAYS run through the line with EVERYONE. F * CKING. THING. US. The Rock starts singing the song before saying, “Record scratch …. get the f * ck from here 2020.” The actor adds: “It feels so good to have 2020 behind us.” The Rock further says that it feels like we have all been waiting for an “eternity” for 2021. “Now we roll forward. Like so many of you, all of you I’m sure, all of you girls and guys around the world did everything you possibly could, and believe me, I was just there with you. ‘The video lasts about eight minutes, but he ends up on the message to play with a healthy, positive energy. Johnson has many exciting projects, including Disney’s Jungle sailing with Emily Blunt. The movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters this year, but has been postponed to next summer due to the coronavirus pandemic. Johnson also owns Netflix Red notice, who recently wrapped up the filming. The film is an action / comedy / thriller starring Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.

Johnson will also make his DC debut Black Adam, which is expected to start production soon. It was recently revealed that Seven Bucks Productions is starting up again The Scorpio King, which was Johnson’s first starring role in Hollywood.
