Watch the debut of Phoebe Bridgers’ Smashing ‘SNL’

Phoebe Bridgers made her Saturday Night Live debuted with a performance highlighting a few tracks from her 2020 LP Criminal, Number 10 on Rolling clip‘s best album of 2020 list.

Bridgers opened her musical place with ‘Kyoto’, with the singer and her band all wearing her now branded skeleton suits. Later in the show, Bridgers returns with the Punisher approaching “I Know the End”, a slow recorder built to a captivating conclusion, where Bridgers repeatedly breaks her guitar over an amplifier.

With the Covid-19 pandemic preventing Bridgers from supporting her new album on tour, the singer spent the entire year performing many notable virtual performances, including playing ‘Kyoto’ from her bedroom on Let Let Show and from her bath on Jimmy Kimmel Live !, an approach to “Savior Complex” of a ghostly Christmas roof on The Tonight Show and “I know the end” in an empty theater on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Bridgers, who recently appeared on Julien Baker’s “Favor” and Charlie Hickey’s “Ten Feet Tall,” will be booked next time on February 17 at the Tibet House virtual concert.
