Who plays

Tampa Bay @ Green Bay

Regular season records: Tampa Bay 11-5; Green Bay 13-3

What to know

Sunday at Lambeau Field at 3:05 p.m., the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will wrestle for the NFC Championship and a ticket to the Super Bowl. Green Bay are expected to win – but not by much – so they will have to be prepared for battle.

The Los Angeles rams usually have all the answers at home, but the Packers were too tough a challenge last week. Green Bay was able to secure a solid victory over the Rams and won 32-18. QB Aaron Rodgers and RB Aaron Jones were one of the main playmakers for Green Bay as the first two TDs and 296 yards passed on 36 attempts, except that they hit one rushing attack and the latter hit in one rushing attack. Near the top of the highlight coil was Rodgers’ 58-yard TD bomb to WR Allen Lazard in the fourth quarter.

Green Bay’s defense was also a presence as it came past Los Angeles’ offensive line to fire QB Jared Goff four times for a total loss of 26 yards. It was a group effort with three guys making contributions.

Meanwhile, Tampa Bay had some more post-season success last week. They claimed a 30-20 victory over New Orleans Saints. The score was tied at halftime 13-13, but the Buccaneers were the better team in the second half. It was another big night for their QB Tom Brady, who passed on 33 attempts for two TDs and 199 yards, except that he struck in one hurried attack. Brady eventually achieved a pass rate of 125.20.

The Tampa Bay defense was the real spectacle, as it collected three interceptions and one ploy. These interceptions were spread across their defense unit.

The Packers were themselves the reluctant receivers of an unlucky 38-10 defeat against the Tampa Bay when the two teams last played earlier in the regular season. Maybe Green Bay will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the match and watch CBS Sports again for all the details.
