Watch Jimmy Fallon react to setback over Addik Rae’s TikTok dances

After returning from a week-long vacation, Jimmy Fallon a complete segment of The Tonight Show to correct his previous mistake around TikTok dances.

On Monday, April 5, Jimmy addresses the setback that his program faced following a segment during the March 26 episode in which TikTok personality appeared Addison Rae perform eight dances that are popular on the social media platform. At the time, users on social media criticized The Tonight Show because they do not give credit to the mostly black creators of the dances.

“With our last pre-break show, we did a little bit with Addison Rae where she taught me eight viral TikTok dances,” Jimmy told viewers in the video below. “Now, we realize that the creators of those dances deserve to have their own spotlight.”

He continued, “So some of the creators will now talk to me about how their dance went viral and then perform the dance themselves.”

Jimmy then talks to the creators and watches them perform their dances. Participation in the segment was Mya Nicole Johnson and Chris Cotter (“Up”); Dorien Scott (“Corvette Corvette”); Fur-Quan Powell and Camyra Franklin (“Laffy Taffy”); Adam Snyder, Nate Nale and Greg Dahl (“Blinding lights”); and Keara Wilson (“Savage”).
