Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is taking part in a virtual debate on the world economy hosted by the International Monetary Fund.

At Powell, Kristalina Georgieva, IMF’s managing director, Paschal Donohoe, finance minister, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, director general of the World Trade Organization, will take office.

The event is moderated by Sara Eisen of CNBC.

Powell and his colleagues in the Fed entered the economy too late, but he expressed concern about the unequal nature of the economic recovery. The Fed is committed to keeping the policy loose until it reaches full and inclusive employment, along with inflation which is around 2%.
