Vaccination, vaccine, vaccine, box-cine … Country music legend Dolly Parton got her first coronavirus vaccine Shot Tuesday, and she adapted one of her best-known hit songs for the occasion. Parton shared a video of how she got the chance, but before doing so, she sang a new version of her 1973 song, Jolene.
Instead of singing: “Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene / I beg you, please do not take me my husband / Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene / Please do not take him just because you can,” said Parton gave the lyrics a modern twist: “Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine / I beg you, please do not hesitate / Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine, Vaccine / ‘Because once you die, it’s a little too late. “
Parton received the Moderna vaccine appropriately. His $ 1 million gift in April last year to help fund the research that made the vaccine possible. Her longtime friend, dr. Naji Abumrad of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, fired Parton’s shot.

In less than an hour, her Twitter video of the recording and song was viewed more than 223,000 times.
Parton shot her on the same day that President Joe Biden announced that there would be enough vaccine for all American adults by the end of May.
