Former White House strategist Steve Bannon has used his fellow ally Rudy Giuliani after the former president’s former president tried to blame the Capitol riots on The Lincoln Project.

Bannon, who was pardoned by former President Trump during his last days in office, invited Giuliani to his ‘War Room’ podcast on Friday to discuss the Capitol riots and the upcoming indictment.

During the heated interview, Guliani reiterated the false theory that antifa was the ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ involved in the deadly uprising. The FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) said there was no evidence to suggest the group was involved.

But then Giuliani made a new claim. The uprising was organized by an “anonymous” person who he said was linked to the Lincoln Project, a Republican group that opposes Trump.

With raised eyebrows, Bannon asks Giuliani who that person might be and says, “OK, but who is it? Rudy, we can ‘t say – yo. Yo!”

Giuliani continues a wild fight and repeats the unfounded accusation while Bannon tries to interrupt him.

“Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa – what do you say ‘do you work for the Lincoln Project?’ Right-wing groups like who? ”Bannon pressed again.

“I do not know if I can reveal his name,” Giuliani replied. ‘Because we have it from anonymous sources. But he has worked in the past for [Utah Sen. Mitt] Romney. ‘

It then seems as if Bannon Giuliani’s answer is laughing, before saying to him, ‘That’s why we’re being blown up all the time.

“You can not throw such a complaint there and say, ‘Yes, I have a double-secret probationary I can not name, but he worked for Romney and he worked for the Lincoln project,'” he added.

The former Trump ally was also among those who created the January 6 protest, which turned violent and led to five deaths, including a police officer.

YouTube banned Bannon three days after the incident. He was banned from Twitter in November 2020.

Giuliani is facing a $ 1.3 billion defamation lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems, one of the country’s largest voting machine manufacturers, for his false allegations of electoral fraud.

In the interview with Bannon, Giuliani also said he could not defend Trump in the Senate trial because he was a witness who spoke during the protest.

It appears that the Lincoln project disproved Giuliani’s unfounded theory and wrote on Twitter that Trump’s former lawyer had asked for a “trial by a fight” to blame them for the uprising within weeks.
