Washington added a solid point and announced Tuesday that Sammis Reyes has been signed.

Reyes is a former Division I basketball player in Tulane and originally had dreams of playing in the NBA. But Reyes, who grew up in Chile, decided to make the switch to football and was trying to put together a team.

At the age of 25, Reyes was one of 11 players training for a spot in the 2021 International Player Pathway program – giving players from around the world the chance to hold at least a year of training. Reyes worked during the Pro Day of Florida late last month and apparently impressed the Washington buyer enough to sign him straight.

This will be Reyes’ first opportunity to compile an NFL rankings.
