Was there a Cortana app for Android?

Microsoft has been telling people this for some time Cortana would disappear on Android devices. This week it finally happened and luckily no one seems to have been touched or even spotted.

Cortana was Microsoft’s own little Siri / Google Assistant competitor. There was even a smart speaker on the market that used Cortana. Of course, this did not start completely, because the offer of Google and Apple was more widely accepted by the vast majority of smartphone users. Regardless, Cortana will always occupy a special place in our hearts.

Here’s what Microsoft said.

On March 31, 2021, the Cortana content you created – such as reminders and lists – will no longer work in the Cortana mobile app, but can still be accessed by Cortana in Windows. Cortana reminders, lists, and tasks also sync automatically with the Microsoft To Do app, which you can download for free to your phone.

RIP, Cortana on Android.
