Warzone players want to remove fist fights from the Gulag

Call of Duty: Warzone players request that a shooting range be added so that weapons and their attachments can be tested before being loaded into a game.

Although we would like to see the classic shooting range in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, players would like to see a literal shooting range to test weapons. Apex Legends boasts an incredibly useful shooting range, and every item on the map is available for testing.

While Warzone players can fully customize their weapons with the detailed Gunsmith system, there is no way to know how it works before bringing it into a game.

Before the famous weapon testers JGOD and TrueGameData were discovered, many of the descriptions for Cold War weapons attachments were incorrect in Warzone. As a result, players built their weapons completely incorrectly without realizing it.

There is nothing worse than falling into Verdansk, unloading yourself and realizing that the weapon you have built is useless. Most players load in a game Plunder to test their weapons, but it’s incredibly time consuming.

In a Reddit message that quickly picked up traction, user ‘Lifeesstwange’ asked Warzone devs: ‘can we have a shooting range please?’

“I don’t care what it looks like, it could be a wall with a bunch of targets on it,” they explained. ‘Simple is better. But it would be nice to have a mode that can be launched from the loading / weapon screen where one can just shoot a few cuts. ‘

Previous Call of Duty games, such as World War II, had a shooting range that was incredibly well received by the community. The creation of Warzone’s weapons is much more detailed, allowing players to make even more use of the system.

Modern Warfare has already built a shooting range for the Trials game mode, so if Raven Software wants to add one, the area is waiting to be included.

Another benefit of the shooting range being added is that content creators will have much easier time testing weapons. Currently, they have to stand in a game Plunder to test the details of weapons and their stats. Their work would be made much easier, which in turn would be a great benefit to the community.

Warzone players are expecting a giant in-game event that could lead to a new Warzone card, so maybe this popular feature will arrive in season 2 or later.
