The latest controversy over Warzone returns to the game’s most “Pay-to-Win” sheet.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a game with more than a few editions, but one has been hiding beneath the surface for a while. In Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5, we saw the launch of the Smoke Skin for Pink.
This all-black skin makes the female operator extremely difficult to see, especially in the darkest areas of Verdansk. And despite thousands of players exploiting the skin, there have never been requests to change it.

Now Warzone players are playing against the Pay to Win skin again, after seeing dominance in a major tournament.
Why is Smoking a pay to win skin in Warzone?
The Rook skin for Operator Pink in Warzone is classified as Pay to Win because it offers a real advantage in the game. Unlike other Call of Duty cosmetics, this all-black skin lets users melt comfortably in the shade.
In fact, this is probably the whole idea behind the skin, as there is little or no color on the skin. Even the operator’s eyes are covered with black face paint, to eliminate all visibility.
Although Warzone’s Pay-Win rifle is no longer in play, this skin has been around for two seasons.
New players entering the battle royally can no longer even get their hands on the Smoke skin. Despite the fact that Pink was available as a bundle in the store, the black look was locked in the 100 Series Battle Pass.
As a result, most OP skin of the game will require real money to unlock, and possibly more to acquire the necessary levels, if you do not have hours to grind.

In addition, there is no way to acquire the skin anymore, which is an advantage for Pay to Win that new players can not get their hands on.
Should Smoking be Removed from Warzone?
But why are we bringing Roze’s Smoke Skin back up now, two seasons of the original controversy?
Simply put, it becomes a nuisance. This is the iconic skin of the sweaty effort that Warzone players hate, but it gives a noticeable advantage to those who use it.
Just look at this screenshot of the recent Warzone Twitch Rivals Doritos Bowl tournament. Every player waiting to go to the private lobby uses the Pay to Win skin, which is clearly beneficial.
If there is only $ 250,000 at stake, who is not going to take any advantage in winning?
In the tournament, almost all of the competing players used the Rook skin, despite 54 available operators. No other skin gives so much advantage in the game, and players again appeal to Activision to solve the problem.
Since it was a Battle Pass sheet, it is unlikely that Smoke will be removed. However, the skin may change slightly, to make it more visible in games.
In the same tournament, one Warzone streamer was banned from the competition after cheating allegations. However, it now appears that the player was innocent, which led to Dr Disrespect calling out the organizers of the tournament.
