Warzone players exploit new invisibility bug to win • Eurogamer.net

UPDATE 18.40: Following the discovery – and subsequent abuse – of an invisible bug in Call of Duty: Warzone’s newly-introduced Armored Royale mode, developer Raven Software announced that it would remove the rotation mode while investigating the issue.

There’s no indication yet of when Armored Royale may return, but it’s probably worth keeping an eye on. Raven’s twitter feed, where the announcement broke, for additional updates.

ORIGINAL STORY 15.15: This is a case of one step forward and two steps back for Call of Duty: Warzone exploits, with players now abusing an invisibility abuse to win.

This bug, first reported in December 2020 but apparently exacerbated by last week’s Warzone update, comes hot on the heels of developer Raven Software’s solution to the troublesome infinite stimulation that has plagued the battle queen for months. harassed.

The error with the invisibility is apparently limited to the Armored Royale mode, which was added to Warzone on February 5 as part of this week’s update of the playlist.

The armored Royale mode is unique in that it offers groups of players a truck reinforced with reinforced armor, a custom mobile buying station for upgrading vehicles and, most importantly, a built-in turret.

The invisibility bug that hit Warzone in December 2020 revolved around the new helicopter minigun, and it is thought that this new bug could be part of a similar bug. Raven eventually pulled the attack helicopter from both Warzone maps as it worked on a solution.

I was contacted over the weekend by a bunch of frustrated Warzone players who came up against this invisible mistake. In the video below, from Twitch streamer Yoda0103, one game of Armored Royale ends with nine invisible players in five teams.

Players also report the issue on the Warzone subreddit:

Really Activision ?! How is the invisibility faint BACK in the game, along with so many other benefits? from r / CODWarzone

The hope is that Raven will sort this one out sooner rather than later, although pulling the Armored Royale truck would destroy the mode. Maybe Raven will pull out the mode completely while working on a solution.

This is not the only invisibility bug in Warzone right now. Grinch’s Forest Spirit skin currently has a flaw that makes the model invisible at certain distances (only their head and gun are visible). Raven is sorting this one out.

Warzone does the business for Activision, but it’s currently having a relatively difficult time for bugs and errors, while Activision is taking the fight to turn its reputation as a game full of fraud.
