Warzone Player discovers completely useless feature

A new aspect of Call of Duty: Warzone was discovered by one player. The only problem is that it’s a feature that does not have a big purpose in the multiplayer shooter scheme at all.

A new video from the YouTube channel TrueGameData found that Call of Duty: Warzone is a slightly different experience in private portals compared to public. What this specifically means is that the way damage is done to enemies differs a bit. The differences are usually not great, but it is still strange to see contradictions between the two modes.

Based on TrueGameData’s own research, these variations in damage numbers also depend on the gun you use and the distance you have from the one you are shooting at. For example, the MP5 in public and private portals has the same damage output until you are 52 meters or more away from enemies. At this point, the damage to the weapon in private matches is for some reason higher than what you would find in a public game. Among the other weapons that are also said to be similar are the P90 and Striker 45.

It is noteworthy that TrueGameData’s own video acknowledges that this information may be inaccurate, but they also performed extensive tests to verify that what was alleged was factual. There is also a chance that Infinity Ward does not even know that this is currently a problem and if they become aware of it, a future patch could balance. War zone in all vestibules.

Until then, Call of Duty: Warzone is currently playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If you want to keep up with the coverage of the game going forward, you can do so by following our page here.
