Warzone is now 100% paid to win, confirms JGOD

In a new upload, professional Call of Duty player JGOD confirms that Warzone is in fact Pay to Win.

As if Warzone is not having enough problems to deal with at the moment, it seems that the popular battle king now contains Pay to Win elements. For those unfamiliar with the concept, a Pay to Win game is exactly what it sounds like:

The players who choose to spend extra cash in the game are rewarded with a better chance of winning.

This issue blows everyone else out of the water, even the force majeure DMR that is destroying Warzone. At the moment, Warzone has many important issues that need to be fixed, but it is no more serious than this one.

New Warzone Blueprint is Pay to Win

Even after a new twist, the Mac-10 is now dominating Warzone, thanks to a new Pay to Win Blueprint.

Recently, Cold War weapons were integrated into Warzone, and things went as badly as you might expect. With tons of new weapons entering the game at the same time, the balance was of course completely off.

The DMR 14, Mac-10, Type 63 and Akimbo Diamattis were far too powerful, to the point where they dominated the battle royally. Now a new Warzone nerf patch has fixed some but not all of the issues.

While the Mac-10, for example, now boasts less head damage, players still find it more than viable. And there is a reason for this.

The basic Mac-10 is now in a much better place than before, but there’s a way to keep your gun at a broken level. Those who purchase the Gallantry Blueprint for the Mac-10 get a huge advantage in the game.

According to JGOD, a professional Call of Duty player and YouTuber, the Mac-10 Blueprint is significantly better than its basic counterpart. In fact, the Gallantry will do just as much damage to the limbs of a hostile player as a head shot with the basic Mac-10.

It’s an insane boost, and it’s clearly a Pay-to-Win element in the game. If it was just head shot damage that hadn’t changed, it would have been one thing.

But the Gallantry Mac-10 actually has higher damage figures all around, including body shots. And according to JGOD, this is a great cause for concern.

Do other Warzone sketches also pay to win?

The fact that the Gallantry was so clearly broken is of great concern, for it raises one great question. Do other Warzone Blueprints also promote weapons in unfair ways?

JGOD believes this may be a real issue in Call of Duty: Warzone in the future.

“There can be no mistake,” says the YouTuber. “It’s like they took the MP5 damage values and basically gave it to the Mac-10, at the Fennec rate.”

JGOD also wants to know if other Blueprints have affected Warzone since its launch. After all, there was no reason to test them so far.

We are just thankful that no broken DMR 14 blueprints have been found yet … However, one Warzone player may already have the best strategy to defeat the DMR 14.

Recently, we saw new details for the second major Warzone map leaked online. Hopefully, by the time this new content is ready for release, the game is ready for all users.

But if Activision doubles this new Pay-to-Win system, we think the player base will soon decline rapidly.
