The director of the program, Matt Shakman, confirmed that the actors in WandaVisionThe ads were two Westview residents brought into the sitcom by Wanda’s subconscious magic. “Wanda gave almost everyone in Westview roles,” he said TVLine. ‘Those two actors, or residents of the city, who we chose to be in the commercials, were meant to be the same as all the other things – that they were itching over time, just like Wanda’s car a red Buick is what goes through time. Wanda portrayed these two as her commercial actors, and they appear in every episode, and they are part of the broadcast. ‘

Many fans testified that the commercial actors were actually idealizations of Wanda’s parents or the representations of the Infinity Stones. Shakman, however, revealed that they serve a much larger purpose. The actors became part of Wanda’s unconscious mind and helped give hints of what was to come in the world of Westview.
“It was also intended as a repository for Wanda’s unconscious,” Shakman added. “She puts something in these ads that is indicative of some of the bigger themes in the series.” As part of her awareness, fans can assume that the commercial actors left Westview with the other residents of the city.
