‘WandaVision’ Recap Episode 3: Elizabeth Olsen explains Wanda [Spoiler]

This post contains spoilers from WandaVision‘s third episode. If you have not seen it yet, you need to divert your attention.

WandaVision, in its first few episodes, takes place in a whimsical sitcom world where things are clearly not as perfect as they seem. Great nod for classic shows like The Dick Van Dyke Show and Betower seems to be camouflaging a sinister reality – do you remember the weird bloodstain moment with Dottie in Episode 2? And this week, it seems like the heroine of the Disney + series is finally capturing this mysterious existence.

At the end of Episode 3, Wanda’s very accelerated pregnancy leads to a wonderful surprise for her and Vision: twin, named Tommy and Billy. The experience of not delivering one two babies evoke Wanda’s memory of her own twin, Pietro, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the movies and who died while playing Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron. This is the first time in the series that Wanda can apparently recall anything about her past, and according to Elizabeth Olsen, this is just the beginning.

And we will continue to watch as she discovers more of such moments. ”

Well, we did not see exactly which came next. But just as Vision returns inside to see Geraldine suddenly disappear and Wanda unhindered / even satisfied, we see Teyonah Parris’ character tumble through a kind of digital membrane that surrounds Westview and in a grass field adjacent to a military (SWORD?) Camp country. erected just outside the suburban enclave – indicating that she was in fact (SPOILER ALERT, although the MCU announced it in July 2019) an adult Monica Rambeau, as in the daughter of Captain MarvelAir Force pilot Maria Rambeau.
