If you want to buy another Xbox Series X or PS5, you still have a chance today via Walmart. The big retailer will reload the next generation of consoles today 4 February at 12 noon PT / 15:00 ET, according to a Walmart spokesman who notified GameSpot by email. The PS5 and Xbox Series X are available for delivery only, and you can order them through Walmart.com or the Walmart app while stocks last.
It’s unclear whether the new and new PS5 stock at Walmart will include the Series S and PS5 Digital, but just in case, we’ve included the retail links for all four models below. Normally, Walmart’s offerings will indicate the upcoming stock time, but at the moment, all four are currently still saying “sold out”.

Walmart’s next-generation console stock is known for being particularly frustrating for hopeful buyers. While it’s convenient for the store to re-announce its stock ahead of time, it offers scalpers plenty of time to prepare, and every previous console stock at Walmart sold out in less than a minute. Securing a PS5 or Xbox Series X at Walmart is a lucky thing, but you can improve your chances by logging in to your Walmart account well in advance and having your payment and delivery address up to date. This reduces the chance of it selling out while you are at the checkout.
Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X are still pretty hard to find in stock, despite being almost three months from launch. Although Sony did not specifically mention the PS5 stock state for 2021, Microsoft recently told The New York Times that it expects the Xbox Series X stock to be limited to at least June, so we expect the same to apply with the PS5. Online retailers still offer sporadic stocks such as those that take place today, although no prior notice is usually given. It seems that many of the big retailers have recently received more PS5 and Xbox shares, as we saw a range of stocks again at the end of January at Best Buy, Target, Walmart, GameStop and even Amazon. We also continue to track Xbox and PS5 updates in our availability guides.
