Walmart will have PS5 and Xbox Series X stock available today

Both the Sony PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X / S gaming consoles will be back in stock at Walmart later today. A Walmart spokesman said The edge that the retailer will have the consoles for sale again at 11:30 PT / 14:30 ET for the Xbox Series X / S and 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET for the PS5. As usual, the stock will probably not last very long.

Walmart plans to stock the PS5, PS5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S game consoles, with prices ranging from $ 300 to $ 500, depending on the model you purchase.

Sony’s next generation console, starting at $ 399.99. The biggest difference between both models is that the Digital Edition can only play digital games, while the $ 500 PS5 includes a disk drive, which allows you to play both digital and physical games.

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, serving as the most powerful (and largest) option at $ 499.99. While the $ 299.99 Series S is aimed at smooth 1440p performance, the Series X focuses on fast-paced 4K gaming.

If you’re buying an Xbox Series X or Series S, an additional controller is probably a good buy. And unlike the PS5, you can buy a 1TB SSD expansion to contribute to the base of the Xbox (512GB on the Series S, 1TB on the X), though it’s not cheap. If you have trouble deciding which games to buy, you can always buy a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you access to a bunch of digital games and access to Xbox Live Gold.
