V’s ridiculous sleeping place revealed by mod

The third-person camera mode for Cyberpunk 2077 gives players a good look at the extremely unusual sleeping position of protagonist V.

A recently released mod for Cyberpunk 2077, which allows players to use an experimental third-person camera angle that is not included in the regular game, confirms the worst fear for fans about how the protagonist V’s very unusual sleeping position is. Cyberpunk 2077 was a much anticipated game from CD Project Red, developers of the popular Witcher series, before it was finally released on December 10 last year. The title was unfortunately a disappointment during the release, thanks to a large amount of bugs during the release.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a role-playing game in the open world that immerses players in the futuristic and dangerous Night City. The game is played from a first-person perspective, which unfortunately means that players are rarely allowed to admire the extensive character adaptation available to them. However, a popular mod can allow the use of a third-person camera so players can see the various cosmetic changes to protagonist V. The mod is still a bit rough, and some of the third-person animations are understandably overcooked or missing, but the developer continued to improve the experience. The third-person mod was released to the public last week, with PC gamers being able to download it from NexusMods.

As revealed by the user of Reddit jk47_99, Cyberpunk 2077‘s third-person mod reveals that V is sleeping in an extraordinary position. Instead of lying vertically like a normal person, with their head on the pillows at the head of the bed, V lie horizontally over their mattress. Even worse is the fact that V only uses about half of their lovely large size width so that they can hang uncomfortably on the side of the bed without any observable reason. The unusual sleeping position of V was very clear, even in the first person, but the third-person mod allows players to definitely see the disgraceful slumber.

Given the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077, It should come as no surprise that the gaming community has been striving to improve the title through various modes. One striking mod wants to enhance the game’s mini-map, which many players find frustrating and cumbersome. The Better Minimap mod, created by NexusMods user WillyJ, adds amazing quality of life enhancements such as variable card sizes and transparencies. Another mod that has been gaining traction since release, City H4ck, adds many new items you can hack into the game to enhance the use of the mechanic.

Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most disappointing releases of video games in recent memory, and this can be largely attributed to the sheer amount of excitement for the game. CD Project Red is losing the trust of a large part of the gaming community, which it will have to work hard to get back. Although the extremely uncomfortable sleeping position of V does not significantly detract from the launch experience, it is one of so many examples of Cyberpunk 2077s general lack of care and polish.
