GREENSBORO, NC (theACC.com) The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the semifinals for the Georgia Tech vs Virginia ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament have been canceled. The match would be played on Friday 12 March at 18:30
The cancellation follows a positive test, subsequent quarantine and contact detection within the Virginia basketball men’s program. The team adheres to the protocols outlined in the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available at theACC.com (full report).
With the cancellation, Georgia Tech will advance to the ACC Tournament and will play the winner of the Florida State game against North Carolina that will now win on ESPN at 8:30 p.m.
