The wait is over. Megastar Chiranjeevi has released a preview of Rana and Sai Pallavi’s lead actress Virata Parvam. Virata Parvam tells an epic wartime love story between a rebellious poet and a rustic girl who is an ardent supporter of his poetry.
The love story is told in Sai Pallavi’s point of view and this explains why Rana first wanted to name her. ‘How long do you have to erase the marks of hegemony? How long do you have to uproot the barriers of discrimination? To stick farmers’ bottom … landlords have progressed, “Rana elevates his voice through his poetry. Aranya is his pen name and Sai Pallavi is dedicated to his and his writings.
“Her love is the one that has raised the curtain of hidden stories,” reads the statement in the teaser describing Sai Pallavi’s worship of Rana. She leaves her family and enters the jungle in search of her love. The police brutality is shown in a scene where the police touch her incorrectly.
Rana is seen in an action-packed role as comrade Ravanna and Priyamani and Naveen fight with him. Although the love story is epic, the action sequences are accordingly astounding. The latest series by Sai Pallavi using a beep word shows the rawness of storytelling.
Venu Udugula shines as a writer and director, as the dialogues have a strong impact. Production design is just brilliant, while camera work and music are other great assets. Suresh Bobbili is Tollywood’s most underrated music director and his work is remarkable.
In general, Virata Parvam puts a very high lead on the film produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu. We have to wait until April 30 to see the epic love story of wartime.
