Pokémon Sword & Shield gets an in-game opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Secrets of the Jungle movie. The limited time that Cramorant Max Raid offers will offer several benefits.
While the Pokémon Company has already been released in Japan, it is in the process of releasing the upcoming 2021 Secrets of the Jungle movie in the West.
As an enlistment, Sword & Shield players can take part in a special Max Raid with prizes. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

Pokémon Sword & Shield Secrets of the Jungle Raid Date and Start Time
The special raid during the game officially begins Wednesday, February 4 and run to Monday, February 8th. Players will simply have to sign up during the four-day period and take a level 100 Cramorant.
While not rare, the Gen 8 ‘man will act as a special boss similar to Mewtwo and Zeraora raids in the past. Game Freak will keep track of how many players in the Nintendo Switch title have beaten it.
Depending on how many times the community takes down the bird, each coach receives a special gift from different articles. Below we talk about the goals and the rewards.

Pokemon Sword & Shield Secrets of the Jungle Raid Rewards
- If 500,000 players beat it: Flame ball, poisonous ball and light ball
- 1,000,000 players: Gold bottle cap, three bottle caps and three pearl strings
Many players participating in the event will no doubt be watching the gold bottle cap. The elusive item allows trainers to maximize their level 100 Pokémon IVs using the Hyper Training at the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
In particular, those who hunt brightly can have an incredible legendary whose stats are not so hot. The reward will increase these values and get them in top shape.

Some players may be let down by the lack of a legendary, but the items that are rewarded are actually very good. Still, the game would have been sweeter if it had included the protagonist of the film, Zarude.
Sword & Shield got its final DLC expansion, The Crown Tundra, in October 2020. As the series kicks off on its 25th anniversary this year, it is unclear whether the Galar region will get further updates, which will make the event all the more special.
