WWE NXT champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly spoke after last night’s NXT ‘Takeover: Vengeance Day’ event from the WWE network.
As noted, Takeover ended after Adam Cole kicked Kyle O’Reilly with a superkick and also took Balor out with a superkick. This came after Balor’s victory over Pete Dunne and The Unisputed Era, which saved Balor from a triple team by Dunne and NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. The takeover went off the air with Roderick Strong performing between Cole and O’Reilly while Balor and O’Reilly lay side by side in the ring.
WWE released the following recordings of Balor and O’Reilly after the takeover after recovering from the super kicks by Cole. Balor noted that he is not sure if he trusts the situation. He also warned his former rival to be careful, adding that he would not clean up O’Reilly’s mess. Balor then went out and O’Reilly was not far behind.
There’s no word on what WWE has next for Balor and the members of The Undisputed Era, but we’ll keep you posted. Below are the recordings of Balor and O’Reilly after the takeover:
