
When The Pokémon Company announces remakes of Nintendo DS titles Diamond and pearl earlier this week, the art style was obviously the most striking.
All the sprite work in the original games has now been replaced with cute 3D graphics in Brilliant diamond and shiny pearl. There has obviously been a lot of discussion about this since then, and we even held a poll yesterday to see what everyone thinks.
Today we offer you a side-by-side comparison of the 2006 games versus the 2021 Switch versions, thanks to GameXplain. This track contains a look at the normal playing speed, followed by a delayed repetition.
As you can see, there are some things that do not even appear in the original games – that are completely new (like a Nintendo switch in the main character’s bedroom, instead of a Wii) and then there are ‘ a few things in it that seemingly confirm Platinum version content will be offered.
