Claudia Conway wants to succeed where her mother’s former employer could not, by securing America’s voice.
The 16-year-old daughter of Donald Trump’s senior adviser Kellyanne Conway appears in a new promo for the upcoming 19th season of American Idol, who blew up Twitter during Monday’s episode of The old guy.
“I’m very nervous, but very excited,” Conway said in the promotion, referring to her parents as “high political figures” during her dramatic meeting with the judges.

While this certainly surprises most readers, it should be noted that Conway let it be known that she was involved in the ABC show at the end of 2020 when she released a TikTok with the current Idol Judge Katy Perry. (Other judges include Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, with Ryan Seacrest also returning as host.)
Conway is certainly not the first public figure with political connections to make the leap to reality television. Let’s take a moment to recall Sarah Palin’s memorable performance of ‘Baby Got Back’ The Masked Singer, or Sean Spicer’s haunting movements during his season of Dancing With The Stars. Honestly, we can name more examples, but we did enough damage for one night.
