There seems to be a new bug detected Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and it’s linked to the latest DLC fighter Sephiroth.
Under the right circumstances, the one-wing angel of Final Fantasy VII can break the Final Smash of other characters (and the animation of each movement, for that matter) – drastically reduce the damage of the normally devastating attack and change the visual effects from time to time.
To activate this unique bug, Sephiroth must defeat one of the Pokémon Trainer’s pocket monsters with his Shadow Flare attack. After this, the opponent’s Final Smash attacks will have little to nothing in terms of damage.
Below is a look at a YouTube Unity YouTube video:
‘Let’s see how a new problem can lead to Sephiroth every Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate absolutely breaks. ‘
Again, this bug requires some unique circumstances to be activated – so you probably won’t encounter it in regular matches.
While we are sure that Masahiro Sakurai and his team will sort it out at some point, it should not affect the competitive side of the game as Final Smash is not used regularly in tournament games.
