Constant rumors about Nintendo releasing a new Switch with 4K features have some people wonder what the company’s current generation of games might look like on improved systems.
Although it is unlikely that ray tracing will appear on Nintendo platforms anytime soon, a YouTube channel known as Digital Dreams has released the image of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild runs at 8K with beam tracking enabled, enhanced lighting and more.
You can see Korok Forest in all its glory, known as one of the most intense areas on the Switch, throughout the game.
Even if you can not see it in its true state, it is easy to see how phenomenal it looks. There are some environmental details that you have not even noticed before. It also made us think about what future generations of Nintendo games might look like in the years to come. The catch with all this stuff is that the game is used on emulation software.
