Apple TV + blows up the cosmos with a trailer for season 2 of the space drama in history For all mankind, which premiered the first of its ten episodes on Friday, February 19th.
The drama, starring Joel Kinnaman, explores what would have happened if the USSR had beaten the Americans to the moon and the global space race never ended. Season 2 begins a decade later in 1983, at the height of the Cold War.
“Ronald Reagan is president, and the greater ambitions of science and space exploration could be threatened while the US and the Soviet Union go head-to-head to control places rich in resources on the moon,” according to the official summary. ‘The Department of Defense has moved to Mission Control, and NASA’s militarization becomes central to the stories of several characters: some fight it, others use it as an opportunity to advance their own interests, and others find themselves at the forefront of a conflict. it could lead to nuclear war. ”
