A recently published Patent indicates that Samsung’s under-display camera technology, after which the company apparently worked for a long time, is in an advanced stage of development. Since the chaebol apparently already plans to bring S Pen compatibility with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, it may not be the first device with a selfie camera under the screen, although some rumors do suggest so. Instead, the Galaxy Note 21 may have the honor, and apparently a new Samsung video points to the same.
Samsung announced during the ongoing CES 2021 updates for the Galaxy Upcycling program announced in 2017. The basic idea is to reuse older Galaxy devices to create IoT tools, and the South Korean giant shared a video that explains the program in more detail. The eagle-eyed people at Let’s go digital noticed a smartphone that has not yet been released in the video that is on the screen. This indicates that the device has a front panel protector under the panel. Since the Galaxy S21 will probably retain a selfie camera with a hole, the phone may apparently be the Galaxy Note 21 Ultra.
Of course, this is pure speculation, but since several sources suggest that Samsung’s bottom panel camera is ready for the first time, the Note 21 Ultra looks like a possible candidate.
Samsung also confirms that the Galaxy S21 will come in a smaller box without accessories
In the video, Samsung praises businesses for reducing packaging and also talks about the waste produced by technology. This is further proof that Apple has inspired the company to take accessories out of the Galaxy S21 box. This means that the new phones will be shipped without a charger and possibly headphones.
If this is a consolation, Samsung apparently plans to release a higher wattage affordable charger along with the new phones. In addition, it is alleged that it will also give away the rumored Galaxy Buds Pro for free to everyone. Galaxy S21 Ultra pre-ordered. Separately, it is expected to cost $ 229.
The Galaxy S21 series will be announced this Thursday.
