The Vico C biographical film, the life of the philosopher, centered on one of the pioneers of Puerto Rican rap, is still available in Latin America through Netflix.
Completely filmed production in Puerto Rico, estreno in 2017 in the cinemas of the Isla, as well as in the Dominican Republic and the United States. It was also streamed on the Pantaya streaming platform.
The project produced by Piñolywood Studios is a biographical film about the life of the songwriter Luis Armando Lozada, best known as Vico C, and delivered as “the philosopher” by his social conscience lyrics, many times based on his livelihoods.

Directed by Eduardo “Transfor” Ortiz (Los Domirriqueños), marked the debut of Luis Armando “Sugar” Lozada Jr., hijo of Vico C, interpreting his father. Mariangelie Vélez and Cesar “TNT” Farrait were also part of the protagonist.
