Verdict coming on April 23 to PS5, Xbox Series and Stages

Judge

Publisher Sega and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are released Judge for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Stadia on April 23 for $ 39.99 / 1,980 yen, the companies announced.

Judge first launched worldwide for PlayStation 4 in December 2018 in Japan and June 2019.

The reissue contains a frame rate of 60 frames per second, enhanced loading times and all downloadable content previously released.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox series versions will be physically and digitally available in the west, while only the PlayStation 5 version will be physically available in Japan and Asia. There are no plans for an upgrade path from the PlayStation 4 version.

Here is an overview of the game via Sega:

Judge utilizes the new hardware with refined imagery at 60 frames per second, along with enhanced loading times and contains all downloadable content previously released on these three platforms.

Praised as “the best crime drama not on TV” by the Hollywood Reporter, Judge was originally released on PlayStation 4 in 2019. The remastered Judge is the debut of the grim story on Xbox and Stages.

Judge is an action thriller that puts players in the shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a disgraceful lawyer who has become a ruthless private detective while uncovering the mystery behind a brutal series of murders. Yagami, who is tied up by his partner, former yazuka Masaharu Kaito, has to climb through Kamurocho’s criminal underground to unravel the truth – as painful as it may be.

In addition to the local Judge takes the classic features of the Yakuza series through the eyes of Yagami. Fans recognize fierce street fights, captivating side missions with locals and comedy breaks with mini-games. Judge increases the prospect by emphasizing investigative suspects for game detection and discovering clues as Yagami walks the thin line of justice in a world of corruption. Full of an exciting story, film battles and a cast of intense characters, Judge will keep all aspiring detectives on their toes.
