Venezuela’s opposition denounces torture and detainees

The Venezuelan opposition’s attacking leader Juan Guaidó’s denounces this Saturday’s torture of the detainees in the last years by Nicolás Maduro’s governor and those who are considered “political forces”.

“Our institutional officers of the Fuerza Armada, who are ready to defend the Constitution, are tortured and sometimes in the strongest conditions of confinement”, said in a message posted on Twitter the Venezuelan opponent Julio Borges, numbered commissioner for External Relations.

“We believe that human rights organizations alcen su voz and presionen al regimen (de Maduro) to guarantee the life and liberty of our military”, added Borges on Twitter.

Agreed with the local NGO Foro Penal, defending Venezuela’s political views, at least 123 militaries permanently opposed the crackdown on Maduro’s governor.

One of them, agreeing with the view that the Penal Forum has, is the coronel of Ejército Johnny Mejías Laya, who was detained on January 30, 2019 since he has already known the details of his case.

Family members of this uniform have been detained for as long as they have been detained and the state’s custodian has been involved in physical and psychological torture.

María Gabriela de Mejías, spokeswoman for the military presidency, denounced this same issue as saying that the military had no medical attention and the pharmacies it needed to attend some dolmen.

“I have had more than 8 days (que) on my own, the coronel Johnny Mejías Laya, not including any lozenges that the post is oranging song”, said the woman on Twitter.

Agreed with Borges, the Governor of Maduro adelanta these actions together with his ally Cuba with the intention of “destroying” the Fuerza Armada de Venezuela.

“By this persecution and encroachment on women his example within the institution. The world can not allow for another atrop, we will demand full freedom from all the soldiers who are unjustly detained,” he said.
