Vanessa Hudgens reveals the ‘very random’ way she met MLB boyfriend Cole Tucker: ‘You gotta love it’

Vanessa Hudgens’ budding romance with Pittsburgh Pirates player Cole Tucker began in a ‘very random’ yet Hollywood way.

“Cole and I met in a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” Hudgens recently told Entertainment Tonight. “Zoom, you have to like it.”

Hudgens, who previously dated Zac Efron and most recently Austin Butler, was first linked with Tucker in November. The 32-year-old actress and 24-year-old athlete made their romance Instagram official on Valentine’s Day.

Hudgens said Tucker is’ kind of ‘perfect’ for her.

“I am [happy]. “I really am,” she told ET. I think it is also so important to remain grateful for everything you have in life. I made it a priority, and I feel like it just made more magic happen. ‘

In late February, Tucker discussed his relationship with Hudgens during a spring training session in the media, saying, “She’s amazing, I love her.”

A month later, Hudgens travels to Bradenton, Florida, where she and her musician-girlfriend GG Magree Tucker and the Pirates go into action.

“Do you like sports? Because we do,” Hudgens wrote an Instagram photo from the stands.

During the spring practice game of March 23, Tucker, who is a shortstop and an outfielder, made a walk with two innings. The Pirates fell 1-0 to the Minnesota Twins.

That same month, Tucker also shared a series of personal photos on Instagram, including a photo with Hudgens smiling during a sunset dinner.

“Let go of the good,” Tucker posted, to which Hudgens replied, “Let go of the evil.”

Tucker and the Pirates are currently in 4th place in the NL [National League]’s central points list with a 7-9 record.
