Valve has refused to name Super Seducer 3 on its computer store, Steam.
The full-motion game was removed from Steam because the store “did not send sexually explicit images of real people” and violated the current construction of the pick-up artist game.
While Valve does allow a number of sexually explicit games to be sold on Steam, the problem here seems to be that it’s a full-motion video, which violates Steam’s Terms of Service.
“We’ve finished reviewing your latest version and will not be able to send Super Seducer 3 on Steam,” Valve reportedly told the developer via email (thanks, PC player).
“After multiple re-submissions of products and product reviews, we feel we are at a dead end and therefore this decision is final. We have no additional feedback or details to share than we have given in previous conversations.”

“Steam has banned and removed Super Seducer 3 from the store. They will not allow it to be released in any form,” tweeted developer Richard La Ruina, which includes screenshots of the alleged correspondence. “Our page is gone and 61,700 wish lists are gone.
“For this, they told me that ‘approval or feedback’ is expected. We have repeatedly said that we will do what they need.”
La Ruina reportedly told Valve that he was “ready to take a butcher knife to the game and take weeks to make all sorts of changes” and expressed surprise that the debate was coming to an end.
The decision apparently has no bearing on the sale of the previous two installments of the Super Seducer series, as it is on sale in the PC store.
