Valorant update 2.05 patch notes: Sova & Astra changed, AFK fines

Valorant patch 2.05 is here, and it’s all about AFK detection and improving penalties for those caught violating the rules.

Brave players have always put Riot under pressure to apply some much-needed changes to their AFK penalty system. While patch 2.03 has laid the foundation for a better AFK penalty system, update 2.05 is limiting players who misbehave.

In addition, those who do not evade competitive games will also receive a small penalty rating penalty for rescuing their teammates.

Finally, adjustments have been made to Sova’s Owl Drone and Astra’s flying mechanic when she’s in Astral Form. Unique keychains for each capability can now be set in the Options menu.
