Is Valheim the new Dogecoin? (I’m not a financial advisor.)
It was a very good week for dogecoin Valheim. The Early Access PC game from Iron Gate Studio and Coffee Stain Publishing illuminates the Steam charts and moves up the list of Twitch’s most popular streaming titles. It currently ranks first on Steam’s bestseller list Nioh 2: The Complete Edition, Devastate, and pre-orders for Total War: Warhammer III.
Described as a “cruel reconnaissance and survival game for 1-10 players, in a procedurally generated purgatory inspired by Viking culture,” in which you ‘fight, build and conquer your way to a saga worthy of Odin’s protection!’, Valheim has nearly 10,000 overwhelmingly positive reviews and will set you back only about $ 20 as of this writing. Gamers looking for something new in the style of Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved you may want to investigate this if you have not already done so.
Here’s how the creators of Iron Gate describe Valheim:
The falconry brought your soul as a guardian to the tenth Norwegian world, where you must adventure to the corners of the kingdom, from the deepest forest to the highest mountain peak, and the death of myths and legends that Odin himself feared. You will manufacture powerful weapons, build castles that take out and longships sail to the horizon to prove yourself to the Allfather, and definitely try!
Highlights of Valheim includes a procedure-generated world that allows you to travel from forests to mountain ranges and everything in between to fight and hunt creatures, and many watercraft to open up exploration of the land. Valheim also boasts a thorough and adaptable structure / base-building system that allows you to build not just a home, but a community, along with enough items to keep you well occupied. And yes, there is a co-op PvE available for up to 10 players, in addition to the options to work on dedicated servers.
