The Valheim roadmap for upcoming DLC has now been launched, giving us a look at all the upcoming content we can enjoy over the coming weeks and months.
Valheim, which was released earlier this month on early access to Steam, is getting ready for some big additions. You can see the full list of updates for the game below, courtesy of developer Iron Gate AB. There is currently no time frame for these updates, except at some point in 2021.
Still, it’s an extensive list of updates and new content planned for Valheim. The first three updates are pretty enigmatic, and we only have names for each. However, the fourth update becomes a little clearer, stating that it will add the brand new Mistlands biome to the game, while the additional enhancements listed below specify individual updates, such as multiplayer interactions and combat enhancements.
Valheim may have only launched on Steam on February 2 earlier this month, but it has already passed one million players. In fact, it had a maximum number of simultaneous players of just over 160,000 players, making it the fourth most played game on Steam at one point. This is quite the amazing thing about Iron Gate’s game.
If you are not familiar with Valheim, it is basically a Nordic survival game. You are dropped on a Norwegian map with nothing but the clothes on your back, and the task is to feed and survive while you repel enemies and creatures while trying to build your own settlement. So far, this formula has proven a big hit with Steam players.
