COVID-19 vaccinations are available by appointment at the Clark County Event Center at the fair this week, according to the state Department of Health.
To make an appointment, you must first confirm that you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine under Phase 1A or 1B-1 using the Phase Finder tool. Phase Finder does not make an appointment for you. After confirming this through Phase Finder, you can make an appointment at one of the mass vaccination sites below. Please note that hours and registration information are different for each location.
Registration opens today at 12:00. About 800 appointments will be available each day. You are encouraged to make an appointment online. If you need assistance, please call the COVID-19 hotline at 1-800-525-0127 and then press #. Language help is available.
Tawnia Linde, director of marketing for the fair, warned that appointments could not be made on the spot. She said people hoping to secure appointments showed up at the fair just to be turned away.
Hours for vaccinations are 9am to 5pm Tuesday-Friday and 9am to 3pm Saturday.
The fair is at 17402 NE Delfel Road, north of Vancouver.
Last week, appointments went quickly. Locally and regionally, there is still more demand for vaccination than available vaccination slots.
