Vaccine registration is now open for Vermonters 75 and older

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine is now open to Vermonters aged 75 and over.

You can register for the vaccine at this link. From Monday afternoon you can also call 855-722-7878 to make an appointment. In the future, the call center will be open from Monday-Friday, 08:15 to 17:30, and Saturday-Sunday, 10:00 to 15:00.

When you make an appointment, you will be asked for your name, date of birth, some medical questions, such as whether you have recently had another vaccine, and your insurance information, although insurance is not required.

The first appointments start this coming Wednesday.

A receptionist will report you, someone will give you a chance, then visit you for 15 minutes observation and then you can leave. It is important to make your appointment, because if you do not do this, your dose may spoil.

An appointment to get the second dose of the vaccine will be made after you get the first chance.
