Vaccination center to open remaining appointments at 17:00

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Brazos County Vaccination Center is planning its vaccinations this week, and as of Monday afternoon, more than 1,500 appointment slots were available. The Hub encourages individuals in the community who are 50 years or older and who are still interested in receiving the vaccine to visit brazoshub.com and plan on Monday at 5 p.m.

Due to the number of appointments still available, the center will open appointments for everyone in the community who are 18 years and older at 5pm on Monday.

To receive a vaccine, you MUST register via the online portal. Walk-ups do not receive a vaccine.

This week, center officials plan to give most vaccines in one week. The plan is to give 5,000 first doses and 7,000 second doses.

Appointments for the vaccine can be made on brazoshub.com. The number of appointments available each week depends on the allocation of vaccines by the state of Texas.
