The incubation period of the vaccine can last as long as two weeks before the recipient begins to develop protection against the coronavirus.
An emergency nurse in California tested positive for coronavirus after receiving the vaccine.

According to ABC 10 News San Diego, a man identified as Matthew W. works at two different hospitals, and his symptoms peaked on Christmas Day, even after he was vaccinated. The nurse informed the news office that he had received the Pfizer vaccine and that it had no side effects other than a sore arm. About six days after the vaccination, he began to experience chills, muscle aches and fatigue.
The 46-year-old tells ABC 10 he visited a driveway COVID-19 test site where he received his positive diagnosis. Experts told the newspaper the various factors that could have played the result, despite the nurse being vaccinated against the deadly virus.
“It’s not unexpected at all. If you work through the numbers, this is exactly what we would expect to happen if someone was exposed, ”said dr. Christian Ramers, a specialist in infectious diseases at the news store. He continues: “We know from clinical trials of the vaccine that it will take about 10 to 14 days before you start developing protection against the vaccine.”

theGrio reported Pfizer revealed in November that the vaccine developed with BioTech was 95% effective against coronavirus, and he hoped to delay the use of COVID-19 in emergencies.
“This is an extraordinarily strong protection,” said Dr. Ugur Sahin, BioNTech’s CEO and co-founder, according to the report.
Dr. Ramers notified ABC 10 that he is aware of several incidents where healthcare professionals are positive about COVID-19 at about the same time as they receive the vaccine. After the incubation period of 10-14 days, Ramers said that some doctors and nurses unknowingly already have a coronavirus before they get the chance.
He also made it clear that the vaccine requires two doses for full efficacy. For him, it is proof that wearing masks, hand washing and social removal should continue as the vaccine is administered around the world.
“The first dose, according to us, gives you somewhere around 50%, and you need the second dose to get up to 95%,” he told the news agency. “You hear heather practitioners are very optimistic that this is the beginning of the end, but it’s going to be a slow roll, weeks to months as we roll out the vaccine.”
According to theGrio, another element that society must combat with vaccination is false information that is spread on social media. Home Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff wants social media businesses to do more than tag misleading posts.
“Distrust of vaccines has increased with loud voices using the platforms to spread fear,” he said, according to the report. Schiff continues, “enforcement will always cling to catching up with a system designed to promote the most engaging content and not the truth.”
